two stroke manual

This book mainly covers two strokes. I was able to use it to fix the clutch on my SP200, though it wasn't exactly the same. Good reference material, plus use schematics online. Helpful.

Short, easy, effective - Me and my professors loved it (CUA)

Edited very well - you get the point of the cases with minimum reading. The editors do this cool thing where they tell you who was in the majority, who wrote the case, which opinions have been omitted - all right below the title of the case. It's broken down very intuitively into Government Powers - Legislative, Presidential, Judicial; Individual rights: 14th amendment, 1st amendment. Footnote cases are almost entirely eliminated. The online supplement does a pretty good job at keeping up with current cases between editions.

Instead of starting off with Marbury v. Madison, the authors ambitiously start off with the NFIB v. Sibelius (Obamacare I) case, which they break up into ~4 pieces in order to introduce the powers of congress. Maybe it will be better in later editions, but this was actually one of the few cases a student cant grok without help from the professor. All the other cases are edited well enough that the law is pretty clear after 1 read through.

Johnny Gibbs, 15, arrives home jubilantly one day with his straight "A" report card to find his belongings packed and his mother and sister distraught. Devastated when they tell him that he is not their blood relative and that he is being sent to a new foster home, he runs away. His secure world quickly shatters into a nightmare of subways, dark alleys, theft, and street warfare. His feelings of estrangement, helplessness, and resentment explode into a physical battle with the head of The Moochers, and Johnny becomes the gang's leader. The boy's "rite of passage" is a bleak, heartrending awakening to a harsh world. Like the author's other books, this one illuminates and personalizes the effects of racial oppression. Although it is unlikely that today's welfare system would disrupt a positive foster care situation after 15 years, Johnny's victimization by society and his lack of resources still ring true. Striking characters, vivid dialogue, dramatic descriptions, and enduring themes introduce a new generation of readers to Wright's powerful voice.

Gr. 7-12. A newly discovered novella written by Wright in the 1940s evokes today's urban violence and also the "cold wet shelterless midnight streets" of Dickens' Oliver Twist. Johnny, a gifted 15-year-old student, runs away from his loving Harlem home when he discovers that he's really a foster child and that the faceless city bureaucracy is moving him to a new family. Suddenly alone on the streets, hungry, and lost, he survives with a brutal gang, fights the leader for dominance, and helps mug a man in the park. As the title suggests, this is an archetypal story of the loss of identity and the search for manhood. There's some overwriting at times, with far too many adverbs ("guiltily," "bawlingly," "dreadfully," etc.); a few minor characters are stereotyped; and the symbolism about crossing the barrier of childhood is overexplained. But the story is taut and terrible, and the account of Johnny trapped in a bleak, hostile city will hold teens fast. They'll also recognize the ironic truth of Johnny's friend who envies him the chance to break free of family. Opposed to the corrupt adults (including the police) who pay the kids to steal is the figure of an African American woman who calls out to Johnny in moral outrage for the crime of mugging an innocent person. Real or imaginary, she haunts Johnny. He wishes she would find him and bring him home. The eminent critic Arnold Rampersad, in a long, insightful afterword, shows how this story integrates many themes of Wright's work, including the relationship between racism, poverty, and violent crime. Rite of Passage - a one day journey

Rite of Passage is a short book that takes place over the period of one day. Johnny, a fifteen year-old goes from goody-goody two shoes teacher's pet momma's boy to knife fight"don't mess with me or I'll cut you up" gangster boy. The story started with Johnny getting straight A's in school, walking home to his bowl of soup waiting for him. When he gets there, he finds out his parents aren't his real parents. He is going to go to another foster home. His "parents" were supposed to tell him a year earlier, and they never did. He waited in disbelief and anxiousness until his new parents arrived, then he had no other choice in mind and ran. He ran to his best friend, Billy, who let him join his gang, that Johnny never knew about. He had stolen some candy bars to live off of and Billy's gang let him join after he spared their leader in a death fight. He later went out mugging people for money, and it ended when he went to sleep. It ended very abruptly, and went very fast. It was kind of hard to follow, and had some strange moments. I would recommend this book to people that like a book with a very realistic look on life. It was a good book, but I wouldn't have wanted to read it if I didn't have to.

Great story but not enough

I did not really like the book, Rite of Passage. I thought the story was too short and that the ending was not conclusive enough. All the events of the story happen in less than one day. It could have been developed a lot more. In the story, there were some things that were brought up that seemed would be important later, but as I finished the book I realized they were not mentioned again. Also, there was no real ending to the story. With some literature, this form of ending works well. It sometimes leaves the reader hanging and makes them think. But when I finished this story, instead of that feeling I had more of the feeling, "That's it?"
There were some good points to the story too. One thing was that it caught my sympathy. I felt the same emotions that the characters were feeling. I was worried for them and felt sorry for them! It also made me think about how people are less fortunate, and how other people feel. We see sad people every day, but do we really stop to think about how it would be to be them?
I would not really recommend this book to other people. I thought that it was too depressing and did not have a conclusion! Maybe the reason I did not like it was because I like being happy, but I do not know. I think this would be a great beginning and middle to an interesting book, but it needs something more.

In Rite of Passage by Richard Wright, Johnny Gibbs has a wonderful life: he gets all A's in school, has great friends, and he loves his family. But his whole life changes in an instant. Rushing home with the thought of his mother's delicious stew in mind, he finds out that the family he had known and loved his entire life, were not his own. They were his foster family, and he is shocked to find out, too, that he is being sent away to live with another, brand-new, family. Johnny has no other choice but to run. In one single day his life seems to take a wrong and drastic turn, and his world becomes an inescapable bad dream.
I recommend reading Rite of Passage because of its simple but involving story, exciting events, and the lessons it teaches the reader about life, family, and love. You feel like you're right beside Johnny as he goes through his "rite of passage." You get close to him, understand his character, and feel his pain.

Bethany Kris is a phenomenal writer. Every story she releases will forever stay with me. Loved every single book by her, not one have I not liked. The Filthy Marcello's collection features Anton and his three sons Lucian, Giovanni, and Dante. So its four books in one, pretty awesome deal. Nobody messes with the Marcello's, everyone knows that if they do, expect to have a bullet through the head. They own the city, and nobody takes what's there's! This is my favorite series by the Lovely Bethany, and she got me hooked to mafia romance.
A must read series!
Giovanni is my personal favorite. The black sheep, the lone wolf. Sigh just writing this review, makes me want to read his book again.

Mafia Hard.....Good And Filthy

Bethany-Kris has a way of telling a story that immediately captures your attention and draws you in. She has a unique way of twisting the family bond through the intrigue of each Filthy Marcello story. This family structure is unique to Mafia stories. The family is not only strong in their crime circuit but strong as a family. The father and sons have each other's backs. They are four strong...Lucian, Giovanni, Dante, and Antony....and they are filthy!

Lucian's story gives a feel of the family dynamics along with his story. He is the eldest. A strong alpha male who knows what he wants. Once he sets his sights on Jordyn, he is a man on a mission. A mission to protect his family and Jordyn. He is Marcello strong.

Giovanni's story shows us what it is like to be the youngest in the Marcello crime family. He is standoffish to outsiders although he loves the ladies. He does his job as a Capo well. It is what he loves about his life. This is until he meets Kim.

Dante's story is about a shift in the family and how it changes him. He needs to lead the family in his way in the direction he wants. In order to do this, he has to have a woman by his side. Catrina is this woman for him. A partner in all sides of life. She is one of the strongest woman characters I have read in a long time. Dante isn't even ready for how strong she is.

Antony's story gives us background on him, Cecelia and the family. I loved both of them in the prior books, so it was exciting to read their story. The story of how they became filthy. The story of Antony's role in La Cosa Nostra.

This series provides intrigue and suspense. The Marcello family continues to live life as a strong family along with a strong Mafia crew. They are unique in their strength for each other. This is one of my ultimate favorite mafia romance series. Thanks, Bethany-Kris. I love these filthy boys.

Another highly penned mafia family romance; the entire collection

I first heard of Bethany-Kris with her Chicago War series -- another mafia/crime family romantic series. That one followed the members of the famiglia, some of whom were bound by blood; Filthy Marcellos was released first, though, and follows only blood.

I always knew I wanted to continue reading Bethany-Kris's books; she writes the crime family extremely well. So I knew that at some point I would read this story. After the Marcellos made a cameo in Chicago War, though, I knew it had to happen quickly.

I very much enjoyed this family. I loved the fight and the emotion; I loved the broken ones and I loved watching everyone falling and finding what their parents had/have. If crime romance is for you, pick this up. If highly protective alpha men are for you, pick this up.

And if series that morph into new series that follow the next generation? Pick this up.

Because this is a series that's going to keep giving, and I cannot wait.

Polyclonal antibodies, widely used in research and diagnostics, are conventionally isolated from the blood of immunised mammals, especially rabbits. The fact that antibodies can also be detected in the yolk of eggs laid by immunised hens, led to the development of the yolk antibody technology as an alternative method less stressful to animals. Since hens can be kept under nearly natural conditions and antibodies be isolated from the collected eggs, this technology has become an interesting alternative to the ,bloody" techniques. For their work on yolk antibodies, the authors of this book received the FISEA prize (International Foundation for the Substitution of Animal Experimentation, Luxembourg) in 1997. Protocols on how to keep and immunise hens and on the extraction, isolation and use of antibodies from yolk are described in detail in this manual. These practical instructions are complemented by a short introduction to the hen's humoral immune system and a section on the pros and cons of chicken yolk antibodies compared to those of mammals'serum. Avian antibodies have been shown to be in some applications even more effective than mamalian antibodies, especially when phylogenetically highly conserved antigens have been used for immunisation.

About the Author
Kate is a Mechanical Engineer with almost 20 years of experience using ANSYS for engineering design and analysis in academia and industry. Kate specializes in finite element modeling of micro scale surface phenomena, new product development, design for manufacturing, engineering design theory and methodology, and engineering design education and assessment. She taught ANSYS and finite element analysis at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and has held engineering faculty positions at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU). She earned her S.B., S.M., and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

John is a Mechanical Engineer with almost 50 years of experience using the finite element method for engineering analysis. From 1967 to 1971, he worked with special purpose finite element programs at the Westinghouse Electric Corporation. He switched to general purpose finite element programs with the initial release of ANSYS in 1971. John served as a consultant to the ANSYS Headquarters Technical Support Group for 20 years where he specialized in nonlinear material models, APDL, User Programmable Features, specialty applications, and other non-standard uses and customizations of the program. He has used ANSYS as a consulting engineer to support Fortune 500 companies and has taught ANSYS and finite element analysis at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and the Korea Advanced Institute of Technology (KAIST). John is currently a Professor of Industrial and Engineering Technology and a registered Professional Engineer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. He earned his B.S.M.E., M.S.M.E., and Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pittsburgh.
